Course description
  Key element in the PRINCE2® Foundation course will be the PRINCE2® process model using the PRINCE2® Trigger Map. Delegates will be shown how the model is setup, how the different project activities and project roles are linked together and how PRINCE2® deals with exceptions that are imminent to occur in any kind of project. During the PRINCE2® Foundation course delegates will learn how to set up a project management organization that is responsible for managing and planning the project. Delegates will be taught how to define the different project management roles to guarantee that the project is run in a most effective and efficient way. The method of ‘management by exception’ will play a crucial role in handling project issues.

An accredited PRINCE2® trainer associated with an accredited PRINCE2® Training Organization, will give the training course. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups. The training materials are very complete. Every delegate receives the official PRINCE2® Managing Successful Projects manual, a pre-course reading manual, a manual with exercises and examples and a CDROM with example exams. 

Delegates can take the official PRINCE2® Foundation exam at set dates during the year according to the exam schedule below. To take the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam delegates must have passed the PRINCE2® Foundation exam.
