The
objective of the ITIL V3 Foundation course is to outline the ITIL lifecycle
Stages, processes, functions,, service management concepts, roles and
responsibilities, technology and improvement of IT Services.
This
course is for anyone in IT. The purpose of IT Service Management training is
to gain an understanding of how ITIL "good practice" provides value to the
customers.
You will
learn how each of the IT Service Management processes interlock with one
another, various concepts, terms and objectives of each process.
This course is based on the ITIL V3 Service Lifecycle books. Upon completion of this course an examination will be given that leads
to the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. It is the
prerequisite certificate required to move forward to advanced levels of ITIL
such as the Lifecycle and Capabilities Modules.
The
exam is scheduled for the third day of the three day course.
